Immortality Types - Ruan Lúan
I have realized over time and the time of investigating the races that there are 6 types of immortality throughout the entire cosmos and I considered it important to write them down so I will write them here:
1. Biological Immortality
Definition: The body does not age or deteriorate with the passage of time.
Functioning: Cells remain in a perfect state, avoiding aging or natural wear.
Limitations: Can be destroyed by physical, energetic or conceptual damage.
2. Regenerative Immortality
Definition: The body regenerates regardless of the damage received.
Functioning: Tissues, organs and even complex structures form again after destruction.
Limitations: Can be neutralized if sealed, disintegrated in impossible dimensions or its regenerative source nullified.
3. Spiritual Immortality
Definition: The soul never disappears nor can be destroyed.
Functioning: The essence persists even after the destruction of the physical body.
Limitations: Can be imprisoned, weakened or isolated from reality.
4. Narrative Immortality
Definition: The being's existence is inscribed in the continuity of reality; it cannot disappear from the "cosmic history".
Functioning: If eliminated, the fabric of the cosmos reintroduces it in some inevitable way.
Limitations: Its form, role or identity may change, but not its presence in the narrative.
5. Conceptual Immortality
Definition: The being embodies a universal concept. As long as the concept exists, so does it.
Functioning: Its existence is anchored to a fundamental idea (war, death, time, void, etc.).
Limitations: If the concept disappears or is abolished, its existence also becomes extinct.
6. Ontological Immortality
Definition: The being is an essential part of the structure of reality.
Functioning: Its being sustains fundamental laws, and its elimination would break existence itself.
Limitations: Can be limited, sealed or isolated, but never erased from the cosmos.
